Research Interests: soil chemistry, nutrient cycling and management
Brief description of current research:
Ali Tabatabai's research focuses on soil enzymes, chemistry and biochemistry of C, N, S, and P reactions and transformations in soils, nutrient cycling, analytical methods for soils, plant materials, and natural waters, waste disposal on agricultural land, and reactions of heavy metals in soils.
Dr.Tabatabai has authored or coauthored more than 350 publications, including 188 refereed journal articles and 40 book chapters; and edited five books and monographs.
